About Orthodoxy
THE EASTERN ORTHODOX CHURCH – ITS SECOND MILLENIUM!
You are reading this webpage because you may be curious about Orthodoxy as you seek a deeper spirituality and more facts about our 2,000-year-old religion. Briefly, Orthodoxy, highly recognizable around the world by its 3-bar cross, is the true Christian faith, closest to the original church that Jesus built and virtually unchanged through the centuries. You will hear the same ancient prayers and hymns during Orthodox worship services worldwide.
ST. NICHOLAS PARISH – OUR SECOND CENTURY!
Our spiritual father and Rector of St. Nicholas Parish, Very Reverend Father Oleksii Kacharai, with his extensive religious education and experience, always welcomes theological questions, and we invite newcomers to celebrate Divine Liturgy with us every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM.
Through our 108 years as a Parish, thousands of Baptisms – both infant and adult – have been recorded in our Parish register. Indeed, our very own Cathedral Council President, Thomas Hanney, converted to Orthodoxy…36 years ago.
Come worship with us!
